Group Tour Request

To ensure that you have a successful visit, please read the following instructions carefully before registering a group visit:

Please submit this group tour request form at least three weeks in advance of your desired campus visit date, whenever possible.
While we do our best to facilitate all group visits, we may not be able to guarantee group visits during periods of heavy admissions traffic or when the College is closed.
Please allow plenty of time to arrive at Lunder House. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, visiting groups arriving more than 15 minutes late cannot be guaranteed a student-led tour. Please find a map of our campus here.
If you would like to organize lunch in the dining hall for your group, you may contact Kelly Cartwright with dining services at KCartwright@parkhurstdining.com should you plan to eat lunch on campus. Dining halls charge $10 for lunch per person and only accept debit or credit cards. Dining halls do not accept American Express cards.
While you will receive an automatic response upon submission of your request, a staff member of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid will follow-up on your request within three business days after submission to confirm. Please do not make travel arrangements until we confirm your group tour.

Options for High School (Please select your programming as time allows. You may choose as many or as few options as you are interested in, and we will be in touch to curate your schedule)*:

Campus Tour and Information Session (90 minutes) - Led by our current Colby students and admissions counselors, in-person campus tours and information sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about Colby’s unique offerings and to have your questions answered.

Lunch (Contact Kelly Cartwright KCartwright@parkhurstdining.com for organizing scheduling and payment information) - The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid does not coordinate campus lunches. You may contact dining services should you plan to eat lunch on campus. Dining halls charge $10 for lunch per person and only accept debit or credit cards. Q and A with Colby Student Panel (30 minutes) - Enjoy a candid opportunity to learn about the Colby experience from those who live it. Hear about living on Mayflower Hill, building community in residence halls, and getting involved on campus.

Fall Only: Holistic Admissions Workshop (30 minutes) - Engage in conversation about the college search process and holistic admissions.

Fall Only: Financial Aid Workshop (30 minutes) - This session will provide detailed information about the aid application process. We will cover required materials and offer tips on comparing financial aid offers.

Fall Only: Essay Workshop (30 minutes) - Chat with students and counselors about tips for beginning and revising essays as well as what admissions officers are looking for when reading applications.

Spring Only: Mock Committee (1 hour) - Led by admissions counselors and students, engage with an interactive mock admissions process reviewing applications for admission to a fictional institution.

Guests will enjoy walking around campus and learning about Colby’s thriving intellectual community all while engaging in an immersive scavenger hunt that leads to different photo stops on campus.

First Year 101 Tour (75 minutes) - This experience focuses on how we support first-year students in their transition to college, and the resources available to Colby students during their time on Mayflower Hill. It will highlight orientation programs, residential life, health and wellness, and much more!

Benefits of a Liberal Arts Education Student Panel (30 minutes) - This panel highlights the advantages of attending a liberal arts college led by counselors and current students.
